Unique, challenging and extremely rewarding experience

My sister and I ventured into this trip with Bhutan Aries Tours and Treks. We chose late autumn in a hope for both cooler weather and lesser tourist crowd. Our tour is a combination of culture and light treks.
We had had pleasant surprises from making reservation with Devendra of Bhutan Aries to the conclusion of our entirely journey in Bhutan. Devendra, our guide (Nyisha) and our driver (Norbu) constantly made best efforts to ensure our tour expectations are made.
The tour started with a short trial of trekking, followed by a combination of cultural and scenic sights in the Western part of Bhutan, a challenging and yet rewarding two-day treks, and ended  with a relaxing hot-stone bath and a wholesome farmhouse dinner.
We visited traditional paper mill. We were fortunate to have glimpses of some peaks of eastern Himalayas at the Dochula Pass. We adored the Phobjikha Valley while on an easy trek. We stopped by a radish farm and rice fields. The Bumdra trek took us one and a half days to reach the most acclaimed Tiger’s Nest. We slept over in a “luxurious camp” which was extremely warm and comfortable at an altitude of 3500 metres. The temperature was 0 degree Celsius outside. Our mobile torch became really handy in the middle of the night.
Bhutan is a very picturesque country, even on a slightly overcast day.
The Bumdra trek would be mission impossible without the home-made walking poles by our driver, Norbu. We thank Bhutan Aries Tours and Treks for the most memorable and unique travelling experiences of late.
